The Lake Erie-Firelands
Tourist Council is a non-profit organization
Over 100 area businesses have joined
together to promote the growth of our regional tourism economy.
Members are owners and members of restaurants, attractions,
services, specialty shops, hotels, waterparks, visitor's bureaus,
historic groups, newspapers and more. The Lake Erie-Firelands
Tourist Council is one of approximately nine regional councils
within the State of Ohio. The State Office of Travel and Tourism
designed these regions to better promote the assets of Ohio. Since
then, the regional councils have become an integral part of Ohio's
travel industry. The councils work hand-in-hand with the state-wide
private sector travel organization, in the Ohio Travel Association,
and with the State's travel office to promote travel and tourism in
Ohio. We will help you spread the word about your business, extend
your busiest season AND your profits, and stay informed with what's
happening on the State and local levels of tourism.
Our Mission:
